What we do
THE BIG IDEA is a series of practical and
interactive conferences and focused workshops sessions that assist
existing and potential entrepreneurs in developing and growing
your businesses by providing practical advice and support.
Big Idea Conferences have, since 2003, been held in Cape Town,
Port Elizabeth, Vereeniging, East London, Johannesburg and Bloemfontein
and have trained over 2000 delegates.
The guest speakers are industry experts discussing topics such
as managing cash-flow, business planning, innovative marketing,
sources of funding and other skills such as the importance of
networking and the value of creativity in the workplace.
The events also include valuable insight from entrepreneurs who
share their experiences with participants.
Our aim is to help you realise your entrepreneurial potential-
whether you are a new entrepreneur or seasoned business owner
looking for ways to boost your bottom line.
In January 2007 The Big Idea joined forces
with SABusinessHub, an organisation that is at the forefront of
small business development and advocacy in South Africa.
SA Business Hub was
created in response to the need of small business owners in South
Africa requiring affordable and accessible on demand business
training, knowledge and information, Coaching, an online marketplace
for goods and services and a national network of small business
owners and entrepreneurs.
Our mission is to provide quality Business Coaching, information,
products, services, and solutions to small and growing businesses.
Through the SA Business Hub Web site, entrepreneurs, businesses,
coaches, and business professionals are able to access a comprehensive
set of information, tools, and services to start and grow a business,
solve business problems, raise capital, enhance sales and marketing,
obtain strategic advice, and leverage the business community.
