The Big Idea Conference was held in 2003, 2004 and in 2005. In the first-half of 2005, the Big Idea team hosted a series of one-day focused workshops.

These workshops ran in the beginning months of 2005. A wide range of topics were covered, aimed at helping people to develop and grow their businesses by providing practical advice and support.

The Big Idea 2003 - 2005 Conferences
Big Idea Conferences have, for the past three years, been held in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban, East London, Johannesburg and Bloemfontein and have trained over 2000 delegates.

The guest speakers were industry experts discussing topics such as managing cashflow, business planning, innovative marketing, sources of funding and other skills such as the importance of listening and the value of creativity in the workplace.

The events also included valuable insight from entrepreneurs who shared their experiences with participants.

The conference fees were kept to a minimum and further discounts were given to individuals that could not afford the subsidized conference fees.

A small exhibition ran alongside the conferences, where products and services that provide support and solutions to entrepreneurs and their businesses were displayed.
